I’m leaving for Uganda tonight to help out the awesome Amigos Worldwide charity who are doing some incredible things. I’m pretty excited. Their mission is “to bring self-sustainability, dignity and hope to the young people in Uganda through investing in vocational training, educational opportunities and holistic life-skills” – and I can’t wait to capture this for them.
This is what I love to do…
I’ve figured that I love to photograph real life – whether it be capturing the love and emotion of a wedding, or a social issue in Africa. I love the power a photograph can have and the notion that perhaps I can make a difference somehow.
I also love to journey. Whether that be the journey of a wedding day or the one I’m about to take. Life is way too short. Traveling to places like India and Africa with my camera has already changed my life, I’m sure of it. I can’t wait to see what this trip may bring…
Hopefully I’ll get to tweet once in while and in the meantime hope you enjoy these photos from my last trip…
Have fun brother man!
Beautiful country, beautiful people, and an inspiring cause. Looking forward to seeing the results of your trip! Awesome 😉
